i do not like the build up to christmas now and the commercialization of it all

christmas is the time of christ, nothing to do with all this build up and hype and commercialization and nothing to do with black friday..the true magic of christmas has been lost, it is very sad i think.

Yes, commercialization is out of control. At Christmas time, we should celebrate like some of the children in Africa do. They don't ask for gifts or toys for themselves. Instead, they, or their mothers, bake a birthday cake for Jesus Christ. The family shares the cake.

First of all, there's no way in hell Yeshua was born in December, if he was conceived in June. The church randomly picked this time of year because there was already a midwinter festival that they wanted to hijack. So don't start with me about changing the meaning of the holiday.
