When do you usually start Christmas/holiday shopping?

I typically begin in early November. But this year money is so tight. :( It won't be much of a holiday but at least I can see lights, and listen to carols and decorate a little. 🎄

I've been collecting all year, here and there, when I find a good sale. I'm nearly done. The last things on my list are a few gift cards, and to knit about 4 throws. I already have the yarn - I'll be starting next in on them next week.
