Tournament day two

The second and final day of the Warhammer 40000 tournament was today and I did a lot better than yesterday. I played against my friend Richard and lost 13-7, and played against a guy who had about as much tournament experience as I did and won (but also drew because of how the WTC scoring system works - I won 72-70, which counts as a draw because there's less than a 5 point difference between players). And my team won some 3D printed models (which I turned down any of) and a voucher to a games store I've never heard of. I'm just super happy I managed to win a game - I don't really care about the prizes honestly. I still wouldn't do it again as it's definitely not my thing.

At least you gave it a go, even if it was to find out that it's not your cup of tea.

@HootyTheNightOwl True. I went into it already aware that it didn't appeal to me, and now I can say with certainty that I'm not into it.

@KiwiDan Some things can still surprise you, though... you might go into it thinking that you won't like it only to love it once you actually do it.

@HootyTheNightOwl That's true. But in a way I'm glad that didn't happen.

@KiwiDan In another way, it's a shame that it didn't happen because it could have been an extra source of new friends for you, though.

@HootyTheNightOwl I actually already knew quite a few people there lol.
