I bought a box of custodes

The "fun" of painting all gold all the time begins. But Imight go for the black and purple Dankanatoi colour scheme from Liber Imperium instead.

Does anyone care about this at all?

Have you thought about how you’ll approach the black and purple scheme? Maybe you could experiment with different shades or metallic accents to make the colors pop. Also, do you have any specific techniques or tools in mind for painting these miniatures?

And yes, there are definitely people who care about this! The Warhammer community is full of enthusiasts who love discussing painting schemes and techniques. Have you checked out any forums or groups where you can share your progress and get feedback?

@Husher I have, I'm thinking either black undercoat with dark green highlights, or a silver undercoat with Black Templar contrast over the top. The purple would be the same either way.

We have forums and groups for those things? I made the Warhammer group, and I've just been using that.

It's not feedback I want necessarily. I'm just depressed and feeling like nobody likes me

@KiwiDan You are very likable. I don't understand the measuring stick you are using to measure your worth that has you feeling unlikable. because I see you as a genuinely good cool dude. So do others. And you have posts with people saying supportive things. I suggest you go through and read some of those things if reminding yourself of your own good qualities and things you like about yourself isn't enough.

@shakemeup there is no measuring stick. As far as I know I just get afflicted by these feelings with no real reason or control. It's like a wave I can't fight against

@KiwiDan I’d add that if you want to feel more connected with others, on SW at least, it would probably help to interact with people on THEIR posts and replies. Your hobby is great but limiting communication to that alone is, well, limiting.
