Tanks I painted in less than 1 hour

They're Malcador battle tanks for Legions Imperialis. They have literally 4 paints on them and took about 30 minutes to paint total.

Four paints, like four colors? How do you seal the paint on? I've tried painting miniatures as a hobby earlier this year but stopped.

@caPnAhab yeah, 4 paints: gunmetal spray, grey, black shade, and brown shade. I seal it with a spray-on matte varnish. What made you stop?

@KiwiDan good to know.

I probably had too many things I wanted to do. I can't seem to finish a task before moving into the next one.

But thanks for the tip. I still need to grasp basic things about painting

@caPnAhab all good. I'm like that too, more often than not. What basics do you need to know?
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@KiwiDan So sealing the paint on was was of them.

And another: is there a sort of base to apply before the actual paint?
KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@caPnAhab So the base before painting is called an undercoat or primer - I use sprays for this, but you can get away with doing a hand undercoat. If you're going to use sprays, stick to the miniature-specific ones. I don't know what's available locally for you, but can vouch for the various Citadel ones.
