Warhammer hopes and dreams
There's a 10th edition on the horizon for Warhammer 40k, and so far they've shown off a few basic rules as well as new models: space marine terminators and Tyranid termagants. Since I collect both of those armies, I'm excited to see what else there is to come.
When I say I'm excited, it's more in the vein of cautious optimism, because I remember that I was excited for 9th edition 40k and that cratered my interest in playing 40k almost immediately, and their insistence on pushing tournament play above all else put me off even further. But hopefully things will be way better than they have been for the past few years.
With the new models they've shown off, I'm tempted to rebuild my Tyranid army with the new stuff. With the Space Marines, if they redo the tactical and devastator marines to match the scaling of the new terminators, then I will absolutely rebuild that army too. And if they redid Pedro Kantor and Captain Lysander then it's pretty much a guarantee.
