Me Waiting for the Leafs to Win the Stanley Cup

I remember the 67 leafs. My favourite player was George Armstrong. I loved the charade he played with the referees. As captain he would be sent out to argue a call. He would skate over to the ref, slam his stick on the ice and wave his arms in the air as he and the ref discussed their wives and kids and how life was treating them. The fans never knew what they were discussing and by the actions of George fans could have been forgiven thinking that they were about to start a fight.

The Leafs serve as a covert front for the mafia because their gateway to Canada is Toronto, so don't ever expect the Leafs to actually win anything because that would draw too much attention to the primary business interest which would prove to be bad for business at the end of the day.
