Repeated visits of your profile can be because newcomers can't get people straight at first and need frequent reminders. When I was new here I did a lot of that to get comfortable with who's who...to the extent that I irritated someone who summarily blocked me. I was very sorry that an early misunderstanding robbed us of a possible good acquaintance. I can see how inordinately frequent "hits" on one's profile could feel weird, though.

@CrazyMusicLover I’m not exactly sure how that works. Like is it just a person’s Instagram of themselves, or they showcase stuff you like? Like I know there are accounts for like art, makeup, dogs, plants, is it that or a person’s life? And if it’s people do you go look at the same ones?

@itsok Musicians but for some odd reason they can't keep their profiles neither strictly personal nor strictly professional so it sometimes feels awkward when you watch them play demos or promoting their new album/upcoming gigs and next post is from their private life with their family, pets or partners. It kind of gives me wtf moments like when you accidentally step on someone's property where you have no business to be, lol.

Why ? If all they’re doing is looking ? Any photos you have can restrict to private albums. You can hide your friends lists and last comments. Everything else is public, anyway.
