These people who decide their life is as struggle against “They/Them”…

Is it because the normal pattern of life of finding a line of work you enjoy, finding someone to love and have fun with, making a home you’re happy and comfortable in, staying close and supportive of your family - hasn’t worked out for them?

Do people invent crusades for them to take to social media to give themselves a sense of purpose?
you said you don't understand, that's okay. your post sounds very privileged, as if those things you mentioned just happen naturally for everyone, it speaks of your life experiences. we all have our own struggles & we all die alone.

@lovelywarpedlemon I haven't even read their comments but sure

@MartinTheFirst Agree. Not everyone dies alone.

It could be that, maybe.

But honestly this governmental/economic system that we live in is making it increasingly harder to do those things you've listed, harder than it has been in decades, and i think that has a lot to do with it too.

Yes a lot of people invent shit to get mad about but when this many people are this unsatisfied with the way things are then i dont think that cuts it as an explanation.

With all this smoke there is bound to be some fire somewhere.
@Eternity There’s no game. You’ve just said something foolish you can’t substantiate but you needed to say something- so you said this twaddle

@Eternity Nice back track again. If you’ve nothing to say don’t feel the need to keep replying.
I tried normal. I worked very hard at it and I was successful. But things change and people passed away and I continually try my best but I am sad and lonely. I am tired of normal. It’s a façade and everyone and everything I’ve invited into my life with love and kindness for the past decade has turned on me.

We are all so hard on each other is there no path to improvement than to belittle what we don’t understand?

I am not convinced it's actually their decision to feel about the world this way. I believe there are thinking patterns imprinted from the earliest stages of life that you can't remove or change with a snap of fingers.

I've just unfriended someone that's always finding posts to get upset over and act all angry on.
I'm not mad about it, and it's not that I think he's a terrible person or anything like that...

I just don't really need someone else's anger and frustrations always coming across my notifications.

Perpetual anger must be a sucky way to live ?

@HikingMan I wonder if it's kinda like this sometimes...?

Some just thrive off of drama

I agree.
It was the same during the Covid pandemic.
People who had average jobs, and lives, all of a sudden became crusaders against health protocols.

An astute analysis. I believe there is much truth in that.
@badminton Thanks. I mean we all fall off the ride for whatever reasons, happens to us all - but some people seem to set up camp there and berate the rest of us for not following them down the hole.

living is HARD work for sure
For some it’s not as much a "decision" as a demonstrable fact. And yeah, I’m sure it’s tiresome to hear about when it’s not one’s reality. But probably not as much as living it is. 🙁

There are different reasons for different people
