I don't understand how some people conclude that if you act defensive then that means you're guilty of the accusations?

Like if someone accused you of a terrible crime you didn't commit and something that could ruin your reputation for the rest of your life, how the heck are you supposed to react?

In a way, that's like the guy who runs when he sees the police, but he didn't do anything. The police chase him, because they assume that no one would run if they weren't guilty.

When someone accuses me of something I didn't do, I don't get all defensive...I sort of ignore it because I know I am innocent...but I MIGHT say something, like, "That's a really DISGUSTING thing to say." But then I drop it.

@4meAndyou yeah, NGL I'd be the type who would run from the cops even though I'm pretty hardcore about following the law 😅

But yeah, if I see someone running towards me, my flight or fight kicks in
