How open are you to looking at things you are familiar with from a different or opposite perspective?

It depends on the subject. There are some subjects if explained civilly, I can hear and consider another perspective. But there are other subjects, like civil rights issues, where I don’t think there [b]is[/b] a valid opposing side.

@bijouxbroussard I agree when it comes to core civil rights. But frequently the flash points around issues -- particularly civil rights ones -- are over periphery misunderstandings (either true misunderstandings or provocative disinformation campaigns) that could be resolved by cutting through the distrust and wrong assumptions.
