Did you have a time you did *crazy* things?

Was just reading an excerpt on Stephen King and how he married when he and his wife felt they really should not, but did anyway. He said they were *crazy* kids back then but that the eight dollar wedding ring they both used was Priceless, to them, years later.
I thought, I've never had a period in life where I felt I could just take a risk and do something that wasn't rational. To just live in that moment without any thoughts of consequences...to just be a crazy kid. Life was survival and if I had been *crazy* I could've had dire repercussions in my violent household.
I think at 43, I need to relive certain years, and just be crazy for a day or a week. I have times I've had fun into the wee hours with friends years ago, but do i have any crazy things I can say I did? No. I've had a few crazy things HAPPEN as well in my younger years. But nothing where I chose myself, without abandon, to just LIVE, on my own accord with no care for the next moment.
Did you do anything crazy in the past?

I think I was similar in some ways. I took the safe option always. Now I'm almost seventy and widowed I'm trying in small ways to make up for my oh so risk averse younger self.

@ninalanyon I'm with you on that. Just hope i don't get caught 😄

@kwood1 Caught doing what? I've reached the point where I have according to statistics, about fifteen years left. So my rational calculation says I really have nothing to lose. I'm an atheist so I don't believe I can take anything with me when I die.

Of course, non-rational me is still worried about what people will think, we argue every day.
