Don't laugh but my latest hobby has been making walking sticks. My son wanted me to make him one with his favorite color, pink. I found this gel woodstain called unicorn spit and it is the coolest shit I've ever seen!
I'll add some more painted and wood burning details, pink twine and a cool rock/gem to put in the crook. This wood stain is really exciting though.
@SW-User Thanks for bc . I call it a spirit stick it holds the spirit of the tree where it grew and of the vine that shaped it. I gave it to my friend on his birthday. He tossed his matal cane lol
I love walking sticks. the tall one is my favourite. It's cedar so it's super light but strong. I found the branch in the woods and it just spoke to me so I cut it to a length I like and sanded it a lot and then polished with bees wax with lavender essence.

@SW-User absolutely. I use stains all the time on my props and masks, Never been able to find good unusual colors though. Stuck with a lots of browns and the like, so this is perfect. The 'molly red pepper' looks awesome too!

@deathfairy Yes it's glittery 🥰 I wish I could make you one! The other two are in my van and it's in the shop. But those are much more primitive. This one is gonna be awesome. I like the stain because you don't lose the wood grain!
