@MrBrownstone I was semi-serious. In War games, they make you have balanced armies.

@Burnley123 In flames of war they use points for your army. For balance the divide the war into 3 stages. Early. Mid and late. You pick what stage of WW2 you play.

@MrBrownstone Interesting how they did that level of detail. I bet British anti-tank guns are awful in the first stage! The third stage german (Tiher tanks) must be the best.

@Burnley123 Yes but the tanks are bad as well so it evens out. Tigers are pretty dominant but can be defeated easily in a close assault and british have firefly tanks that can defeat them. You can always use terrain to stay out of view.

@MrBrownstone It sounds like a good game with mechanics that add complexity and realism.

@MrBrownstone Is there an Italian army book and a roster of shit low points units that surrender all the time?

@Burnley123 They don't have their own book. They don't surrender any more than any other army. You could end up with 6 million bayonets rule and get the fanatical ones.

Soviets
Germany
USA
France

Does Japan have an army in this game?

@Burnley123 UK,Soviets,Germans and US are the most popular. France is hard to find as Flames of War don't make them any more. Same with Japan. But they have books as well as Hungary and Romania.

@MrBrownstone My plan is to get the V4 books Bagration, Berlin, and whatever one covers Stalingrad. Then the plan is to use as many bits interchangeably as I can - IS-2s wouldn't work in Stalingrad, but Shock Rifle groups should work in any period.
