If you don’t enjoy adult topics set your profile to fAmily friendly. If we eliminate every topic that someone doesn’t like they would have to close the place down. Amazing how many people need a safe place where no words that offend them can possibly be seen.

@AnneHoney True, but I think people are complaining because they are regularly exposed to things they aren't interested in being on here. If people want to share experiences of a controversial or more sensitive nature, they really should find the place for it. Public settings aren't appropriate for many of these experiences. They should know that.
