A lot of it depends on what’s in the shot. Some hurt more than others, and some you barely feel. When I was 9, a score gave me a shot of penicillin, which usually hurts a lot, but he did a good job, and it barely hurt at all. Later that night, though, I sat down too fast on a hard chair, and then I really felt it!
