Having a pacemaker installed sounds like major operation but the guys can do it in the blink of an eye. After you recover from the anathesia you can go home the next day without any pain at all. The battery lasts about 10 years. You'll get documentation to show the airport goons when you fly so always keep it on you. Don't overdo the physical activity for a couple of weeks. You will probably be checked twice a year, once in the doctor's office and once at home with the remote sensor. My basic heartrate is now 60. It got in the 40s before I had mine done.
I got approved for the pacemaker surgery!
I am so excited. I can't believe it

Congrats...if that's the right word? Hopefully this will give you a new lease of life, I'm really pleased for you ❤
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@PatientlyWaiting25 yes it is I had a heart defect in a valve and they were unable to replace it so they did an emergency repair job. I'm getting the pacemaker to help slow my heart rate so the valve that they were paired will last as long as possible.
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
@Cigarguys It's so amazing what medical science can do 😊
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@PatientlyWaiting25 it would be better if they could have replaced the valve instead of repairing I would definitely live a lot longer but I will take what I can get. This is a blessing and I'm so excited

I thought you already received the pacemaker? 🤷♂
