Last spring I got a neck infection. I put off seeing a doctor. I worked from home. Yet then I started falling down, and walking got hard. So I called an ambulance.
They said I had flesh eating bacteria in my neck, and cut away all the infected tissue. Then they cut skin from my leg and patched the wound. I also learned I had diabetes, hypertension, and two small strokes (from a scan). The infection had spread to my vertebrae. I was on three antibiotics, and cathered at both holes. I threw up twice a week. I had no appetite. I lost a lot of weight.
I was in bed so long, and the infection so bad, I lost my ability to walk. Eventually I could use a walker. A few months later I went off the walker. Some strength has returned, but I am slow. I also have diabetic neuropathy, which in hindsight started years ago on my toes. Something was wrong.
Fortuanately, Ozempic has brought my sugars down. Yet then I had my first routine colonoscopy. No cancer but inflammation. So I am being treated for that.
Best of luck to you!

@Thevy29 I do drink cranberry juice, but the body wasn't designed to use a catheter multiple times a day
