My operation is over, all went well

There was a slight setback.
When I first put weight on my foot the wound split open and there was copious blood spilling out.
So the wound was redressed and I had to wait another hour for the wound to heal more, reducing the chance of splitting open.
Finally released at 6pm with a stipulation that I had to have someone with me overnight in case of complications.
This was relayed to me an hour before the operation. I was on the bed awaiting my turn when told this.
So I rang my friend and asked if I could stay overnight at his place. Thankfully he and his wife agreed and I am currently in the spare bedroom. It is 10.30pm.
I hope the wound does not bleed overnight and destroy the bed linen.

Will you have physical therapy afterwards?
