Most of the new cases are from the delta variant. Unfortunately, the vaccines aren't as effective against the delta variant as they are against the original covid. The Pfizer vaccines are over 90% effective against the original covid, and over 60% effective against the delta variant. So even though I'm fully vaxxed, I have gone back to wearing a mask again whenever I go into a place of business, such as a restaurant or a supermarket.

Canada and Israel have distributed virtually the same number of doses per population, and the weekly change in the number of new cases is also comparable with Canada up 56% and Israel 70%. Both have less than a tenth of a percent of new cases attributed to those having received at least one dose. You're likely getting your information from a lying Republican anti-vaxx source. They like to multiply the real figure by at least 5,000%

@SnowBlack Wow, you are amazing. Isreal has a double vax rate over 80%, which if you understand math, the probability of those being vaccinated making up a strong part of new cases matters. Have fun labeling all you want, though.

Simply put, if you just test for cases, no matter the severity, and the virus *can* be present in a vaccinated person, even if less likely, with less severe effects, if you only have a small percentage not vaccinated, of couse the group vaccinated will represent a large amount of positive cases.

If logic (for you) dictates I'm an anti-vaxx person than so be it, while I'm vaxxed.

So the Republicans fight any restrictions and protest wearing a mask in Congress. Around 3000 Americans died on 911 and that was a crisis. Last year we had recurring days where 3000 Americans died and it's coming up again. Why? Because the Republicans wanted to release COVID on the country so Biden couldn't get anything done during his Presidency.
So first Trump mismanaged COVID and let Americans die and then Republicans used their own base as pawns, political pawns, and let them die, so they could blame Biden.
