Is a second wave and nationwide lockdown now almost inevitable?

I can't see people surviving if there is another Nationwide lockdown. I'm guessing there is no choice but to close down localities. I would say 'name' them but not 'shame' them. It's not everyone's fault. I'm glad I don't have to make these sorts of decisions.

No.Absolutely not.Scare stories again.And the population won’t fall for another round of scaremongering or accept one.And Boris has said he won’t let there be another lockdown.Our little Hitler will be disappointed when there isn’t one.
I have remained unconcerned throughout all this and look forward to attending rugby matches and concerts in Bristol because we sure as hell aren’t going to be allowed to here.

Trouble is that a second wave will mean that isolation measures are no longer effective because the virus will have evolved to get round them. So why bother.
