Is everyone okay with opening up society so soon?

Germany eased restrictions and the infection rate increased 3 fold.
The US death rate has jumped above 1500 cases a day, again.
House viewings are to resume in England.
I think it is way too early to open. but I am not doing it tough and only have cost of living expenses. No Bills.
So for those who have Family, Mortgages, and other bills to pay I can see the reasoning of opening up society, I hope that there is not a catastrophic infection rate increase as a result.

I really dont understand the political thinking in most places.. Its not as if you can convince a virus to go away by talking . It shows a total lack of planning by governments that they cant see that getting a % of the people killed is not going to annoy the survivors at the next poll.
