Has lockdown made you happier, sadder or no difference?

It the big picture it has broken my heart. I can’t see my love. Quite a bit of distance separates us.

Beyond that, I have lost all circadian rhythms. Reluctant to spend any money...
Yes it’s tough being spectated from love ones. And I totally relate to the sleep cycle going askew. @CopperCicada

I miss family and friends and I miss going bowling, but I'm fine at the moment...I've got used to it...

It is....but I enjoyed my social life ...but I'm happy...@LukeTheDuke
Once this has all passed I think a lot of people will appreciate their social life a lot more. Stay happy, sir. 😄@Platinum

@LukeTheDuke thank you Luke and you stay safe..
The whole plandemic has caused me to be more stressed out because everyone has fallen hook, line and sucker for it...

‘Plandemic’! I like that, but planned by who exactly? @Amyrakunejo
@LukeTheDuke The Globalist Front, which includes all governments and other private parties/interests, that's who. China and the US are definitely lying to everyone as well as in cahoots. You can take that to the vault.

It really is not a big deal. Most people have virtual relationships anyway. It is good that we have to discipline ourselves, some. It is a spoiled society.
Your coping skills are probably a lot stronger than many people. I agree that many people have become used to a spoilt lifestyle - we should all take this time to reflect on our lives and the world. @KevinOfTheHill

I've been healthier for sure, eating better, working out more, but I miss interacting with people.
Sounds like you’ve used this opportunity very positively. @NeonPanopticon

Sadder as I deal with depression
So sorry to hear that. Depression is a really tough issue, but millions of people have recovered from it, and you will too. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you need to talk. Happy to chat if you need it. @Beatbox34

@LukeTheDuke Thank you for this 💙. It's just that when I am able to go out, its helps me keep my mind preoccupied and sitting at home doesn't help.
You’re very welcome.

I know inactivity can be a real danger with depression as you just have too much time to keep playing and rewinding all the problems in your head over and over again. But, to flip the coin, it can also be useful as it allows you time to write down your problems, and hopefully make sense of things that way. Writing things out can also help clarify what’s really bugging you and this can be a Catharsis.

I really wish you all the best for your future.

It’s good that things don’t feel worse for you, many people definitely appear to be struggling. @RamessesII

I’m a regular home alone too, which is perhaps why I haven’t struggled too much with this situation. @RamessesII
No difference 🤷
Ok, well I hope you’re ok with that. @ProdigalSummer
@LukeTheDuke not really, I'd like to be happier. I was on the path to make big changes but then lockdown happened
Well now you e got time to really think those plans through in detail. I hope your big changes go well once we’re through this time. @ProdigalSummer

the lockdown has made me sadder because of limited activity and less contact with friends. I continue to be quite concerned about the epidemic, itself, and it's impact on millions of people in our country.
I’m sorry you feel sadder. I know this event is worrying for a lot of people, but we can be resilient when we put our minds to it. @exexec
exexec · 61-69, C
@LukeTheDukeTrue. We had a ZOOM meeting with many of our friends over the weekend, and that helped.
I’m glad you enjoyed your Zoom virtual meeting. I hope you continue to find creative ways to cope with this situation.@exexec
Sadder and sicker
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon. @Spoiledbrat

Things that have happened during lockdown have made me sadder but they’d make me just as sad outside of lockdown
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head - life is tough.@summersong
purplepen · 51-55, F
Sadder and more stressed. People are dying, and people are crazier than usual.
I hope you feel better soon, and that this episode is soon over. @purplepen
purplepen · 51-55, F
@LukeTheDuke Thank you. It will probably be a few more months before the old covid dies down.
I agree, but during that time we can all try and make some life decisions about how we want to tackle the future. I’m sure you’ll thrive once this has passed. @purplepen

Sadder than usual, but it helps to be content and grateful for that one box of facial tissue I was allowed to buy today.
Sorry you feel sadder than usual. Let’s hope things soon get better. @Wales
Crazychick · 36-40, F
Not happier, but not a great deal of difference. I miss being able to see my friends though.
Yes, missing people is probably the toughest part of this. @Crazychick
Not happier or sadder but definitely less turbulent and more stable :)
It’s brilliant you’ve taken some positives out of this. @TopCat
