How the world will work with COVID

It is in the news that the Asian countries, having gotten COVID under control the first time, are now facing of second wave from people bringing it in from outside. Some day we'll get it under control here, but how will we deal with infusions from outside? Taking temperatures at the border doesn't prevent it coming in. Someday there will probably be a vaccine, and someday it will be practical to test people's blood for antibodies to see if they've already had and gotten over the disease, but how will we identify the people who've had the vaccine or who have the antibodies? It seems to me that just as people buy fake drivers' licenses now, there will probably be a thriving market in fake health credentials.
