@TexChik @SW-User @Platinum Personality I think they calculate these staggering losses again the cost to the public purse, after all people are disposable. As an Aussie I don’t speak highly of our government at all, particularly in recent times. But one thing they appear to have got right is our health care system (inherited from previous government) Per head of population we don’t suffer these losses and I attribute that to our health care system, well for now anyway. 🤷‍♀️ Personally I believe these numbers can be cut down enormously only if they were prepared to spend the money.

@VodkaBec actually it’s computer models . The same model theory that predict global warming ( man made) when there isn’t a shred of evidence to support the theory ... Only man made computer models with predetermined variables ( to get the desired results) . In England , their model prediction of Covid19 deaths changed by over 50% by implementing social distancing . 50%! Thst pretty much says all you need to know about those models ... highly speculative ...at best. Basically they don’t know , but leftists are going to latch on to the worst case scenarios .
