@Harriet03 After reading the Bible for 50 years I knew we were in the last generation 3 years ago Look at my first posts here more than 1 year ago I told you about plagues and mocking God and that Jesus said this would happen just before he returns! I wrote about plagues and mocking the Bible then!

What do you make of the fact that for centuries people have been predicting that the end times are nigh? People have read the same signs in their own times and determined that the end is near.
Ever heard of the church of latter day saints?
So were they all just mislead or wrong but you definitely have it right?

That is partially true but not entirely true! What is true is that people, even the apostles, thought he would come back in their generation! But that could not have happened because of all the signs were not happening! I mean my own grandma who read the Bible everyday did[b]not[/b] think he would come in her generation!
She warned me that when you see these signs, the world is as wicked as in the days of Noah, iniquity everywhere, hearts growing cold, changes in the weather, increase of famines, the Christian world falling away from Christianity, mocking
The Bible, increased [b][b]great[/b][/b]earthquakes, false religions, increase in knowledge, people going “ back and forth” and people mocking the Bible, when the entire world has heard the gospel to every nation, then you know it will be your generation! [b]Never[/b] has the world seen this at the same time as now!
The first sign was the Jews getting their own land and that was the only sign my grandma had seen But she had never seen all these signs so she told me about the other so I would remember when I see them! I doubt we have more than a few years left! You’ve said I would believe when I see it, So get ready to meet Jesus like you’ve been waiting for!

The whole church of latter day saints are sure about it.
Do you think they were any less sure than you? Do you think they were stupider than you? Do you think they weren't as familiar with the signs as you were?
Nah. We all think our generation is the important generation.

Most people do not know the Bible! Even seminary schools don’t always require the Bible to be read as much as the books about the Bible! I wasn’t allowed to go to the Sunday school across the street! I learned not from a pastor but from my Bible! Also many aren’t really saved they “accepted” Jesus but did not follow him when it didn’t suit their finances, their sexuality, their political stance, or some other reason so they left God because it conflicted with their
“ lifestyle”

Jesus warmed in the last book, in the last chapter, in the last verse, Rev 22Re“[b]Do not add to this book because I will add to you the plagues if this book to you(probably hell), and do not take away from this book or I will take away from you the rewards from this book , ( heaven)[/b]

They add to the bible sure. But they still know the sings laid out in the bible and they are sure they they are living in the latter days.
Have in fact been sure of for nearly 200 years.

@Pikachu No you aren’t really understanding my words! Most people like my grandma nor any pastor I have ever had in my churches in the USA nor Sweden have ever thought Jesus was coming soon! I have never had a pastor who is seriously preparing their congregation for his return!, even now! I spoke to about 20 pastors in my city and they are not expecting Jesus because they don’t really pay attention! Jesus said that In the last days Satan will stand in the Holy place! Satan is in many churches and many pastors do not [b]want[/b] him to return! Because ”they love their lives not unto death” as Jesus says.
This is one of the signs too like I said, people of faith are falling asleep! They love their lives and are not eager for his return!
We need to pay attention and God wants us to remind the world he is coming like a thief in the night to most “ but not to you” he says! If we think he is coming today we will be working hard to preach the gospel and not play golf or something (or video games) reminding people stir them to action God says! We do not have much time!
Here are some changes in only our generation The internet, divorce, marijuana and pain meds to deal with stress, marriage has changed, sex is ok outside marriage it wasn’t before, cars and plains to travel None of these changes was before in any other generations!

No i think you really aren't getting it and i don't know what else to say to convey the point that thousands of devout christians have for [i]centuries[/i] believed that they are seeing the signs that the end is coming so soon.
You see signs in your world that lead you to think it's happening.

God killed all but 8 people in Noah’s time! God told Abraham to get out so he could burn down Sodom! There aren’t a lot of people in this world that really want to follow God or are paying attention! I believe God is trying to get our attention now! It’s important that we understand that God isn’t kidding! Like I said before Jesus apostles said “were those people sinners that died on the wall of Seol? “Jesus said they are no more sinning than you if you don’t repent that will happen to you too! We all need to repent that is the warning for these days!

All my Christian friends thought it to be ok to remarry after divorce! Even pastors! The same pastors that say it’s ok to divorce! No it’s not ok because God says if you marry s divorced woman you commit adultery! I have Christian friends who have been divorced 3 times and married 4 Times!
Jesus said Many will say in those days I preached in your name but I will say to you I never knew you!
I follow Jesus and none of my friends think Jesus is coming this generation! None!!!
