I truly believe Trump will let this virus take its course, reach its natural conclusion. I rather think he means it when he speaks of churches opening for Easter. I think he does see this like seasonal flu +
Most who catch Covid-19 will survive. A minority, a large minority will not. Millions, tens of millions could die world wide. We may not be able to eradicate it. China has new cases. We will all catch it and many will die while most survive.
There is a risk. What if the US lets it run its course while the rest of us do eradicate it? Most Americans want to isolate themselves, build a wall to keep others out. But what if the rest of the world see this as keeping the US in from us?
I don’t see a coordinated effort in the US to solve this and every state is doing their own thing? The health system is not really geared up to solve a huge epidemic. It’s quality depends on the ability to pay. World wide I’m not sure where this is heading but in the US I don’t really think it’s sunk in yet.
@Gemini43 Ain’t it amazing that people still believe it’s a hoax created to make Trump unelectable. And I suppose all those who died were part of the conspiracy. And they call me stupid. 🙄
Hydroxychloroquine is an anti viral drug used to treat malaria. Azithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat pneumonia. The combination has proven effective treating corona virus.
@gregloa Oh the other thing you mentioned about obeying God. Do you believe Trump obeys Gods commands?

No it isn't a cure as such. It is hoped to reduce symptoms etc. But much testing and verification needs to be done before you needlessly or possibly recklessly start injecting millions of people.
It isn't a cure since you apply this once someone has the virus, it's not a vaccine to stop infection.
Like hiv you can't prevent the infection getting in you can control it by essentially helping the bodies immune system cope.
It's been on the news in Australia that the mix of the HIV medication and Milaria has killed the virus on 50 or more people, that's what was reported in the press here yet nothing gets done or it's not even in the news the following day 🤷♀️
@ExtremeNext I read that doctors have given the meds to patients who have displayed the symptoms but not to any that are severely sick that are not breathing on their own (ventilators/pneumonia patients). I read that a blind study is required and a double blind study would be more suitable.
the first one is i believe a malaria treatment and here in my country it has been used to successfully kill the covid virus .. Not sure about the second one.
