Caffeine and Aspirin, that would kill my stomach with the aspirin in it. I’ve never had a hangover when I used to drink.

@cherokeepatti In my drinking days I suffered appalling hangovers.
Sometimes lasting a week.
Found out why they were so bad, diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the Liver.
So, every time I drank, I was poisoning myself😟

@Gusman Yes it is poison, have heard a doctor say there is no good reason for anyone to drink alcohol. Have also heard some say that red wine is healthy for anti-oxidants in it but you can get the same from a drink of purple grape juice, pure apple juice, honey & apple cider vinegar.

@cherokeepatti The stupid thing was, I drank for another 5 years after the diagnosis.
Silly me.
Sober now for 18 years

@Gusman Do you take milk thistle herb?It cleans the liver plus helps to regenerate the cells. I don’t think it’ll reverse scarring though. Black seed oil is also really good for the liver and just about everything else.

@cherokeepatti I take no medications.
I have no lasting ill effects given that so much time has passed.
Mild scarring does not repair, given abstinence, further deterioration ceases.
