It was for that very reason I ordered over a dozen and a half pairs of wool socks last year. I wear them in the winter when I am being cozy for the evening. I can wear them with flip flops instead of slippers. I found I was running out all the time, and it is very gross to re-wear them.

@4meAndyou Rewearing wool socks isn't gross.

@33person On a cold night, I used to ditch the flip flops and wear them inside my slippers, and if you re-wear them they get...eww.

@4meAndyou Just saying, if you google how often wool socks need to be washed, it's pretty much unanimous they don't need to be washed after every wear, "unlike cotton socks," they say.

@33person Your feet sweat, just like your pits, and sometimes more so. Sweat from my feet is not fabulous and sweet smelling, and I refuse to save it until it gets stiff.

@4meAndyou You can wash them as much as you want.
