So much of our Medication is on the PBS, Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
I am not on any medication but when I am the average cost is about $40/script.
Unemployed/welfare people pay $6.90/script
@Gusman And our countrymen are afraid of any plan that might save them money, lest it be considered “socialized” healthcare.

@mrmoose Yet if enough people complain then things can change. Seems like the population has given up trying to fight for their rights.
People are allowed to suffer and die painful a death.
They say the US is the greatest country in the world?
@Gusman Sadly, it can’t be while the people in charge are more concerned with saving fetuses than saving the
Iives of their born citizens with affordable healthcare.

@bijouxbroussard Mylast hospital stay, in ICU for 10 days was $110k, they are kind enough to take payments for my 20% of the bill

@mrmoose My last hospital stay of 3 days was $0.00. With free medication and free Moon Boot.

@Gusman Mine did not include meds or the fee the radiologists charges
@Gusman I don’t know what to say. Before I retired I spent a month in the hospital and paid $100 for everything that was taken care of, including surgery. In 2017 I paid $1,000 for outpatient eye surgery—also with insurance.
