So much of our Medication is on the PBS, Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
I am not on any medication but when I am the average cost is about $40/script.
Unemployed/welfare people pay $6.90/script

@Gusman I don’t know what to say. Before I retired I spent a month in the hospital and paid $100 for everything that was taken care of, including surgery. In 2017 I paid $1,000 for outpatient eye surgery—also with insurance.

@bijouxbroussard I have insurance, I met the deductable of $7k in March
bijouxbroussard · F
@mrmoose Wow, I’m so sorry. This year my deductible was $1,300 and I’ve spent about $700 towards it. It changed from $30 copays per doctor visit to about $300 per appointment until the deductible is met.
