Is it hard or rare for you to feel empathy or remorse?

I've felt like that with age, but having said that I think i've been carrying a lot of baggage that isn't mine in terms of how people view the world. I sometimes wonder where i picked it up and where our innocent sense of empathy goes.

Is it through wisdom to not care as much, or is it a fault we let into our network that became a part of the system itself?

My natural inclination is to be empathetic but I make a conscious effort to not let it get out of control as it has before. Tends to get me more troubles than anything.

There are some situations where I can be very empathetic, but it usually requires at least a small degree of effort on my part. Remorse is something I feel, though.

No--I have the opposite problem--I am an empath and cry at any suffering...and want to save the world and all children and people who live in poverty or disease...

Quite the opposite. I'm an empath.
