Why don’t people who have lifeless limbs, have them amputated and replaced with good prosthetics.

They’d be able to walk/run, or pick something up for example.
Have a much higher quality of life.

I wasn't aware that people were deciding to keep their lifeless limbs.

I can understand someone who is paralyzed from the waste down, but I've never seen people leave their dead body parts attached to them. 🤔
I wonder how that would work... does the blood still circulate throughout the whole limb? Only way it'd still be viable to keep around... otherwise I imagine it'd rot and fall off on its own.

True. I was talking in terms of limbs where there is circulation, but for some reason they are paralyzed and can not be used.

@VomitingWords Just because a limb is rendered unusable doesn't mean it's dead. it just means the nerves and muscles are no longer active. Blood will continue to circulate as long as the heart is still beating and the arteries aren't blocked or severed.
