Completely agree. It's not like an itch you can easily fix by scratching. And when you've been trying to cough it out for ages, it's such a relief to have it finally gone. There should be a word in the English language for the relief brought about by expelled phlegm.

@GlassDog It's the same kind of feeling when one of your joints won't crack and then it finally does.

@BlueMetalChick Yeah, or when you sort of feel like you're about to sneeze but can't, and then finally do.

@GlassDog Speaking of joints, my jaw cracked just a few minutes ago. I used to have that happen all the time as a teenager but it stopped years ago, this is the first time in a long while my jaw has popped. I had almost forgotten about it.

@BlueMetalChick I only get that when I'm really tired and yawning. Haven't had it for ages because I'm never tired now, but I wss tired all the time as a teenager.

@GlassDog For me it wasn't like a yawning motion but more if I pushed my bottom teeth off to the left. If I did that quickly enough, the left side of my jaw would make a sharp cracking noise sometimes.

@BlueMetalChick Wow. I'd forgotten about that until you just mentioned it. I just tried it and cracked mine too.

@GlassDog So I'm not the only one, whoa...

@BlueMetalChick It's weird. I've no idea how common or uncommon it is. You're the only person I've ever talked about this with in my entire life.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@GlassDog I guess it's not a common topic of discussion anyway lol

@BlueMetalChick Like most of the stuff we've ever talked about!
