I’ve been doing water aerobics. I try & really work as hard as I can. I had knee surgery a few years back and just can’t do the land classes anymore. Lap swimming is a good workout as well but I get bored with it after awhile.
Good luck finding something that works for you.

Cycling is good but it takes longer than running

@NiftyWhite it's good to mix it up but nothing beats running - out and back in an hour.

Ya running for an hour feels like 7 days LOL the next day I be like "I can't do it again. I don't have time for a 7 day run today!" LOL @SW-User

@NiftyWhite I have nice surroundings and I listen to podcasts. I sometimes dread the idea of running but once I'm out there I never regret it. Try "Stuff You Should Know".

Cardio workouts at a swimming pool are great for resistance training

I do simple step type excersize that I can do at home ...it works , it's simple ...just move

@NiftyWhite I'm 42 ... I've lost a lot of weight within the past four years ...it was slow but it was ongoing ...plus I changed my diet ...both go hand in hand ...you can't eat crap then excersize after ...it doesn't work ...

@SW-User I know. I used to train for fitness shows. But it was hardcore kick-your-ass cardio and workouts that got me into shape within a few months. I just don't have that kind of stamina to kill it. I have never "lost weight gradually"....How often do you do your workouts?
SW-User
@NiftyWhite every day 30 to 40 minutes in the am and 30-40 minutes pm ...I used to do more but my schedule is crazy now ...so I fit in where I can everyday,no excuses

Boxing training. Hitting pads and stuff will cause a good sweat.

The tread climber is awesome because you can distract yourself with video or t.v.
NiftyWhite · 46-50, F
@GJOFJ3 Welllll....depends how fast you go. LOL. When I did it, it was painful and no TV was gonna save me. LOL.
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
@NiftyWhite they are adjustable for less resistance.

Swimming is the best form of cardio if you can. Walk the stairs at work helps for me.

Swimming does it for me. I take my underwater earphones and swim forever.

I do kickboxing (or some variant of that) just pinching and kicking the heavy bag. It gets the heart going. :)
Rough sex with your man you get off and lose weight and it is enjoyable...☺
NiftyWhite · 46-50, F
I won't tell him you said that at all or he will def make me "workout" every damn day LOL. I got stuff to do....@mistermister
