@CheerfullyCurious I think you need to try a more intense yoga, like a power yoga or a weight-loss yoga which actually raises your heart rate. There are different types of yoga
@JarJarBoom i am just fooling around , but my personal preference is workouts that includes elements of martial arts like kickboxing, combat, tae bo, warrior dancing etc. Since i was a kid i had interest in this. Did karate for awhile (but did not get very far) but my daughter is a Black Belt and have won some championships . It is just a family thing - we like that kind of exercise.
Yeah I know people who lift weights regularly but don't get crazy buff. It's still exercise. It takes a lot of work and builds a lot of strength and it's definitely not easy! :)
yoga for younger people is not so much exercise as it is honing your body mind connection and "cultivating chi", or at least thats what qi gong is about. its still very good for you.
@xSharp now that i agree with. It is more of a mental thing (except for hot and power yoga) . I do like a good cardio workout. Personally for me yoga is a "supplemental" workout .
Why hate when the Tao states that hatred is only an iwardly directed energy. It's like shooting yourself because you are angry about something other than yourself. Have a blessed day.
