Yoga is just a bad excuse for doing real exercise.

Okay okay - just give me the hate now.

You obviously never done power yoga before.

@JarJarBoom what is the difference?
JarJarBoom · 41-45, F
@Leftyss power yoga is more about getting your heart rate up and also doing these strength moves such as holding high planks and a lot of core work. I guarantee you, you will be drenched in sweat after a 30 minute session.

Cud be worth it. Never have done either..

@Leftyss there are some good vids on youtube its a really really good workout.
CheerfullyCurious · 46-50, F
@JarJarBoom may be good , but there are much better workouts
JarJarBoom · 41-45, F
@CheerfullyCurious you don't know that until you actually try it...
CheerfullyCurious · 46-50, F
@JarJarBoom i have tried it. I dont mind it in addition to other cardio workouts but cannot make it my main type of workout.
JarJarBoom · 41-45, F
@CheerfullyCurious I think you need to try a more intense yoga, like a power yoga or a weight-loss yoga which actually raises your heart rate. There are different types of yoga

@JarJarBoom i am just fooling around , but my personal preference is workouts that includes elements of martial arts like kickboxing, combat, tae bo, warrior dancing etc. Since i was a kid i had interest in this. Did karate for awhile (but did not get very far) but my daughter is a Black Belt and have won some championships . It is just a family thing - we like that kind of exercise.
