Yes, you need to give your body time to recover, no matter what exercises you are doing and HIIT are certainly a drainer. Go to the gym and work out every other day not every day, it'll be better for you as it'll give your body time to make improvements and allow you to do more in the gym.

@impulsive 10-years ago, I had a personal trainer, and was in the best shape of my life. Weights and cardio on same days 3/week. I lost weight and looked great without dieting. Now, it seems no matter what I do, I can't get that back. I have built some muscle, I'm stronger and aerobically fitter, but can't seem to get the same shape and physique. I think a trainer pushes you harder than yourself.

I agree with what someone else said, likely factors to do with sleep and how you are feeling overall. I think you do fantastic with all you keep up with:)

Exercise keeps me going, Raven. Yes, it's probably a combination of factors. @ravenwind43

@Carissimi I feel so much better exercising I know that.

@ravenwind43 Me too. If I don't exercise my joints stiffen after a few days. I always say that it's exercise that keeps me standing, and able to lug grocery bags up several flights of stairs without getting winded.

@SW-User I back off a bit in summer, but don't give it up entirely. Mainly go easier on the cardio. Weight lifting is easier in high humidity than jumping around.

Oh I don't have the energy with all the work to be done gardening etc. Lol
Winter is snow shovelling
Spring and fall re my best times 👍

Of course. You should've had rested up. Also maybe your pre workout meal wasn't on point

@SW-User Maybe.

There's something as too much training.

SW-User
You don't need external exercise, you need internal exercise - so just MEDITATE :)
Carissimi · F
Exercise is vital. You don't maintain muscle and healthy heart and lungs with meditation only. @SW-User
