What works best when helping you lose weight?

I gained 50 lbs last year. Everyone thinks it suits me very well... but I could afford to lose more. I started the calcium pyruvate diet and lose an average of 6-7 lbs a week--when I'm consistent with it. Any tips that work for you? Any go to recipes? Exercise regimens?

cutting carbs has always been the thing that seems to work the best for me if I want to lose weight.

no flour + high intensity workouts
@Skyline470 this plus lower carbs and not eating processed foods helped me in past.
