Best experience of your entire life this far?

Mine? Raising my kid. The absolute best experience of my life and also my life's greatest accomplishment. ❤ Pretty sure nothing else will ever come close.

It’s so cliche to say, but definitely becoming a mom. I became one in my early 20’s when I should’ve been enjoying my youth and exploring the world to figure out who I wanted to be, but growing up without a mom just made me want to be the mom I never had. It’s all I truly wanted to be. It makes aspirations wonky once they’re grown, but I’ll figure that out. There’s extreme comfort in knowing if nothing else, I accomplished that in life.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart Not cliché at all. Parenthood is amazing - the best life experience there is, in my opinion. ❤

I can't single out a "best" experience, but the most satisfying was raising our kids to be adults who consistently make us proud.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@exexec Absolutely. Right there with ya on that.

Meeting with Jesus for the first time so I knew who God was, our wedding day or when we went to the adoption hearing and heard we'd officially become parents. There's been some awesome memories 😊

@PatientlyWaiting25 sounds like it! That's awesome!

being a stay at home mom for awhile when my kids were little. precious days.

@Penny That's wonderful. Cherish those memories!

Having a completely successful replacement of my mitral valve. Absolutely no complications. If there are such things, I call it a miracle.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@HowtoDestroyAngels That's wonderful! So many complications can happen after valve replacement surgery - especially mitral valve surgery. So good for you!!

@FreeorLonely I never did hit any really bad patches with my kid. I was blessed. Those younger days are gone - they're married and out of the house now, but it remains and continues to be the best part of my life.

On a different note, your profile name has always struck me as a personal quest/question to decide whether to stay in a lonely relationship or to break free and move on. Am I way off the mark?
FreeorLonely · 51-55, F
@LadyBronte that's awesome! ☺

You’re very close, I’m single and it’s a question of does that make me free or lonely? I like my peace and freedom to do what I want (I still have a kid at home and an ailing father that I take care of) when I want. At times it’s also lonely, so both.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@FreeorLonely Perfect name, then! And I can understand all of that, too. It can be lonely to navigate life's responsibilities sometimes.
