Personally I would never complain if someone throws more money at me haha. There’s always use for it.
With that being said though, on an organizational level, I had worked in businesses which had gone downhill once the upper management made decisions only based on making more profit without considering the well-being of the workers (who are the real muscles of the business). The community among the workers fall apart and the business struggles.

Neither do I, but money is what makes the world go 'round. It also gives you opportunities to do more things, so I say it's worth it!

Yes but having enough so that you don't have to constantly struggle and worry about where you will get the money of the water heater breaks or you have a bad tooth is very good thing.
@Subsumedpat that's why I said having enough money definitely makes things smoother

That's true!
Agreed...I have well off relatives and they always seem uptight and miserable
@catastrophecarnival yeah I'm not seeing the real benefit of hoarding money for personal use. If money became useless most these rich people would be toast lol

More money would solve literally every problem I have st the moment.
@DearAmbellina2113 Sure, having enough is very different than not having enough. And somewhere, some rich guy, doesn't care because he has more than enough.

It is sad, it would seem as a species and a society the more greedy we become and the more we want it all, the worse we treat each other.
@Bang5luts Yup. Not many people see that the root of our every day problems isn't even our lives, it's the situation we're stuck in because of our societal structure.
Nobody deserves millions of dollars when others are starving. The system creates thieves then punishes them.

@MarbleMarvel but it doesn't punish the biggest thieves. Which are the ones at the top. When we have someone (government employees, politicians etc) money to take our money (sales tax, property tax, vehicle registration more than once ever, etc) things are out of hand.
If someone owed me money, they wouldn't have to pay someone else to take the money for me. They could just pay me the money they owe me and I would be happy.
That's why our government doesn't agree with a barter system. It's difficult to tax sortie trading eggs for vegetables. 🤔
