Having enough money definitely makes things smoother, but I don't believe for a second that wealth makes you happy.

I've observed that the more people have, the less they care about those around them. The more uneven the wealth distribution, the more the rich attempt to dissolve communities and individuals "beneath" them. It's a false sense of power and control. When they can't control you, they don't see the value in you.

Personally I would never complain if someone throws more money at me haha. There’s always use for it.

With that being said though, on an organizational level, I had worked in businesses which had gone downhill once the upper management made decisions only based on making more profit without considering the well-being of the workers (who are the real muscles of the business). The community among the workers fall apart and the business struggles.
