What is the best thing about your home? It can be the atmosphere. The people there. Or something else. Tell me what. And how it feels. I am home again

Happy me!

It is irregular and imperfect like me and highly tolerant of the heavy use my family makes of it 😊

The sound of my daughter walking barefoot on the old tiled floor makes me feel properly at home 💖
@SunshineGirl The second part? Unforgettable!

@Canuckle So they are orthotics, then? Back injuries are so severe.
Canuckle · 51-55, M
@PoetryNEmotion my sports physician said to try Birkenstocks and so I did. I wear them as my indoor shoes. Best investment.

My parents make it the best, after my bf broke up with me and I had to move out, my dad cleared all his stuff out of basement and I got to make it my own. I have bedroom, living room and decent sized bathroom. We just have to share the kitchen but I have supper with them almost everyday anyway.
@SW-User Your parents love you so much! How sweet! And you have your own home too! Love is family!

@PoetryNEmotion yes they do, they’re great, I’m so lucky! I love them so much too! ❤️
@SW-User So refreshing to hear! Thank you. I know you do!

@PoetryNEmotion Thank you 🥔❤️
My cats !🤣 I'll give my kids honorable mention.

Car. Books. Collections (elephants, Whimsies, snow globes). Current knitting and lots of wool. Husband. Separate bedrooms (need my own space). Phone. Radio.
@Fluffybull I like it all except the separate bedrooms. Is that due to snoring? I could never live that way in love.

On the edge of a huge forest of full grown Douglas Fir and other assorted conifers. Pretty close to a good sized river. The abundance of wildlife.
@icedsky Sounds heavenly! You are so blessed!

@AtticEscapee Tolerance? Could you elaborate, please? That seems to be a seldom used word.
@PoetryNEmotion Gladly. I tolerate the opinions of others. I do not insult them or make unfounded accusations. ❤️
