Absolutely hands down 😀 My happiness doesn't depend on my external circumstances. My relationship with God helps me to be content with the things I have and to make the best use of them. I may not have access to filet mignon or an expensive cut of steak whenever I want it, yet I have come to realize that I can be just as happy with a pot of lima beans or pinto beans with a piece of smoked meat in it and a piece of cornbread just as well. And I can wash it all down with some ice cold grape Kool-Aid with freshly squeezed lemon in it. 😀

It depends on your attitude. I think I know a lot more happy people who don't make much but live within their means than wealthier people keeping up with the Jone's. The people I know who are really unhappy and poor are the people who want more than they can afford.

Proper wealth is not the things that you own. It's the relations that you have with others.

For the most part... unless you have a threat of no home, no food and such.
Happiness sometimes depends on the people around us and situations.
