Should the frenulum be left intact?

If so, why?

If the foreskin is going to be removed in anyone a little older than shortly after birth, the circumcision is certainly neater with the frenulum taken off. It leaves the glans completely free of the shaft on the underside and the glans isn't pulled down by the skin bridge. It also means that the shaft is neatly topped by a glans without any thin strip of skin connecting them on the underside. Yes, some nerves in the frenulum area are removed but the glans has more than enough surface area for stimulation and I believe that the underside of the glans where the frenulum once was remains sensitive and erogenous. .

@Jillette In ONE months time my Grandson will be born and eight days later he is going to be circumcised by a Mohel and given his names both Hebrew and English.. It is OUR practice when circumcising to leave his frenulum entirely intact.. as was done with my penis when I was circumcised by Dr. Cass many years ago.. The Frenulum normally is not any issue in the regular intended functions of the penis and as mine is there... his will be left in place.. Its perfectly fine to leave it alone..
