Should the frenulum be left intact?

If so, why?

There is a condition called frenulum BREVE - a short or tight frenulum that forces the glans out of column with an erection and this condition is a reason to relieve the pressure surgically... However in the VAST majority of men this is not an issue and the frenulum can be left in place when circumcision takes place.. There are many good and valid reasons to circumcise males, there are very few valid purposes and reasons to excise the frenulum.... Traditional JEWISH circumcisions preformed by a trained expert - a MOHEL ALWAYS leave the frenulum in place / alone as it has NOTHING to do with the circumcision... and this is how and why and by whom I was circumcised at eight days of age... The frenulum is a source of pleasure and its removal serves no purpose or reason other than aesthetic preference by SOME.. Frankly penises are functional sexual organs, and not displayed.. Removal of a foreskin positively impacts Women's willingness to provide fellatio (oral sex for men by Women) but the presence or absence of the frenulum has zero impact upon Women's willingness to provide men with this experience/service and its presence certainly has no impact on vaginal intercourse or manual stimulation of the penis...

My mum got me circumcised by bris milah and periah as a jew and she told me that she chose that as both my foreskin and frenulum would be obliterated
