Getting old isn’t for sissies.

It was never funny. A fall can be a major life transition for a senior. The beginning of the rest of one's life in a wheelchair, and a trip to major surgery.

Not at all. My wife fell a couple of weeks ago, and I got a neighbor to help me get her up without hurting her. She is fine, but it was scary for a few minutes.

Nope, not one damn bit funny. When I was recuperating from a few surgeries I found myself on the floor more than once and it hurt!

I’m only 40 and when I was under 40 I couldn’t even sit on the floor with knowing how to get up so I don’t sit on the ground unless I know how to get up 😝 and I’m very careful when I’m walking just in case I fall
