Is anyone else really fearful of aging?

I'm 35 in april and I want to throw up. I seriously don't want to grow old and look old you know? I don't want to be an old man. I want plump skin not wrinkles. No greys, no lines, no sagging and bagging.

Well, what are you gonna do ?

You can either obsess over it and stress urself out, (and prolly make urself ill with it).....or just roll with it.

You can choose, to define urself by youth. You can choose to accept this is the way of things.

Or....

.... rock the boat.
Be urself.
Age with grace ...or coolness.
Embrace age with pizzazz 💪

....or let it drown you in sadness of loss and inevitable entropy🤷‍♀

Yes - it sucks to lose ones youthful vigor.

But its also a gift to learn to live beyond it. To rely on ones character and uniqueness.

Which....when you think about it:
What good is beauty if its nothing but a hollow shell ?

@OogieBoogie My plan is to save as much money as I can for regular botox and facelifts and filler if I can. I'm no stranger to those procedures it's just the money is an issue. Unfortunately we live in a youth and beauty driven society hence why I'm trying hard to retain where I am because I worked so hard for it all.

What about life?
What about learning stuff and seeing things and going places and meeting people?

Im going to be blunt:
Living a life obsessed about what you percieve others believe in ....isnt truly experiencing 'yourself'.

Life is about change, growth, expansion of ones self. Seeing, feeling....being.

Yes wrinkles suck.
But they also show others your character. Our wrinkles reflect who we are, our inner attitude - they grow with us.

Let me ask you this - how long will Botox and facelifts hold you?
And what are they holding ?
And if you spend all your effort, time, money and attention on your outside..... what happens to your inner self if its neglected?

Again, what good is beauty if its a shell of fear?

@OogieBoogie Granted I've had more work done than just that and it was all for a better life. Nobody noticed me or wanted me as I was in the body and face I was given from birth so I worked hard and did a lot of undesirable things to get to where I wanted to be. Beauty opens a lot of doors probably more doors than I would have ever had available to me as I was.

Just....beware those doors.

They dont always lead you to better places or people.

Beauty can be a curse.
It can be wonderful, but it can also be nothing more than competitive and stressul.

And this race youre running, of beauty....you cant outrun it.

Eventually life will take over, and time will win.

Im going to stop here.
There is so much more i could tell you, but ....its not pretty, ironically.

But i will say this: if the doors you want, and the people you desire are bourne from physical beauty....then you will end with having to be accountable tp yourself for those decisions.

And you will end.
We all end.

In my opinion, its about choosing a life, a character, that we can look back on and go - "yeah, im cool with that"
