How I felt after mentioning Paul McCartney to an arguably grown person and their brow furrowed and then smoothed. “oh, yeah! Didn’t he sing with Wings?”

Lol, I get that all the time.
Last month was the anniversary of a massive firestorm over in Oakland, back in 1991. Someone here whom I thought was a contemporary said, "that was the year I graduated from high school !"
(I was 31. 🤨)

I do this to my siblings to humble them. It's both my job and passion as the youngest

....you really want to shout out loud about how the 'kids' these days are fucking up the English language by using the phrase 'you old when'.

Yeah, I’ve gotten the age where my stories often take place before the person I’m talking to was born. I’m not sure which of us is more boggled at their not knowing there was a time before internet 😅
