anyone else fear ending up alone

all i have left for support is my elderly parents and they live far away....i lost touch with friends i had from the long ago past...i also struggle with my mental health...i don't know what i'm going to do when my mum and dad are no longer here....i'll be all by myself, in a crazy world.

i'm very close to my parents...and i couldn't bear to be without them.

You need to start going to a church. ANY church. Meet the pastor or priest or whatever he or she is...and explain your situation.

@4meAndyou i agree forcibly keeping yourself away from others , who very likely need your companionship too. Is never the route to ending loneliness.

@Kae20 And churches are commonly known support groups. If the pastor or priest or whatever he or she is becomes aware of his fears and needs, then he or she can take extra care to make sure he is involved with as many people as possible who will be willing to help or befriend him.
